Hyderabad burglars' Modus Operandi: Leave "Gold bless you" note after robbing house

In bizarre cases of robbery, police have observed a unique modus operandi that has left them both amused and frustrated. These robbers in Hyderabad left a cheeky "God bless you with more wealth" note when they were done robbing a businessman's house in Nandivada, Nizamabad district on Thursday. They reportedly scooted off with gold and cash worth Rs 85,000. 

They left a note behind, which said, "We are stealing gold and cash from your house. Don’t be sad for the act. God will bless you with more wealth, wait and see."

The burglars targetted the house when there was no one home and the entire family had gone to a relative's place on Wednesday. The owner of the house- Surakutla Bhaskar- was away performing the last rituals of his father at a relative's house. When the businessman returned home, he found his home ransacked and 8 tolas of Gold missing, along with some cash.

Sub-inspector of Town III police, G. Venkataiah, speaking to Deccan Chronicle said, "The thieves sneaked in and took eight tolas gold and cash, totally worth Rs 85,000. They entered the house by breaking the lock on the front door. They also broke the almirah, which contained the valuables, and decamped with the booty. A case has been booked under section 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code.
