Hyderabad: 16-year-old sodomises boy, bludgeons him to death

FollowA 16-year-old boy from Hyderabad was arrested for sodomising and murdering an 11-year-old boy from his neighbourhood.
Hyderabad police said that he has been sodomising close to 16 kids from his area for the last few months.
The victim went missing on June 29, and his parents had filed a complaint with the police.
The police stumbled upon a CCTV footage that showed the youngster accompanying the boy towards a government school in the Barkas neighbourhood of Hyderabad on the day he went missing. The boy’s body was recovered from the terrace of the school.
Upon questioning, the teenager revealed that he had murdered the boy after abusing him sexually. The victim had threatened to complain against him which forced the teenager to kill the boy.
The police recovered an iron rod that the abuser used to bludgeon the victim to death.
Police found that the accused used to lure his victims by offering them chocolates. He also used to pay them Rs 20 for securing their co-operation.
“He had run away to Mumbai a few months ago and recently returned home. He is reportedly a victim of sodomy himself. Facts are being verified,” said a police officer.
