GHMC puts a check on illegal constructions in Hyderabad

FollowThough Telangana government and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) came out with many rules and penalties to curb illegal constructions, but Hyderabad is still teeming with a lot of them. In another move to check the illegal constructions GHMC has prepared a plan of destroying illegal buildings in Hyderabad.
The GHMC authorities made stringent rules regarding permission for building houses and other constructions. GHMC officials will scrutinise not one or two times but six times, the plan of the construction and each time with different officials for scrutiny. GHMC warned of closing the construction from its foundation if there is any falsities in the plan. It will punish the defectors if the plan had loopholes or if the construction is against the plan of GHMC.
GHMC also warned of stopping constructions if they even waver slightly from the original plan and respective measures would be taken against the owner or the builder, says GHMC officer Devendar.
