Young man climbed a hoarding threatened suicide for road repair

The local people at Shamshabad people went on a dharna to repair the main road from Shamshabad bus stand to the village but there was a traffic jam because of the dharna. The Shamshabad airport police entered the scene and tried to clear the people.

A local youth Ramu climbed an advertising hoarding nearby and threatened to commit suicide. He said that he would get down only if the officials and local representatives promised the road repairs. The police were trying to bring him down.

BJP leaders arrested  

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) demanded that the government declare September 17th as the official Telangana freedom day in this regard State BJP called Vanaparti District to participate in the surrounding of the collectorate. The police arrested district and Kothakota mandal BJP leaders and 300 workers and moved them to Vanaparthi Police station. Rajavardhan Reddy, Rajender Reddy, Madhav Reddy , Venkat Reddy, Sairam, Koteswar, Srinu, Eswar, Rammohan, Manyam Suresg, Paramesh and others were among those arrested.

 Seven year old girl was raped by a 60 year old man

A seven year old girl was raped by a 60- year-old man in Hyderabad Kushaiguda. Yadaiah called his neighbour’s daughter to his home and raped her and gave her chocolates asking her not to tell anyone. The child told her parents the whole incident. Local people caught Yadaiah beat him up and handed him over to the police. The police arrested him under the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses) Act.

Arya-Vysya dharna against Kancha Illaiah in Bhupalapalli

The Arya-Vysya community conducted a dharna against Dalit activist and writer Prof. Kancha Ilaiah against his book ‘Samajika Smugglurlu Komatollu’ (Vysyas are the social smugglers) in Bhupalapalli. Later on they torched his effigy and demanded that Ilaiah should tender an apology to the community.

On the other hand, Ilaiah demanded safety and security from the police after he allegedly received threatening calls by Arya Vysya Sangam.

Vijayawada Parlor preparing fake Vijaya Brand products

The Vijayawada task force identified a fraud company in Chaudharypet in Krishna Lanka Vijayawada making fake buttermilk, lassi and curd packets in the Brand name of Vijaya.

The task force identified Sai Jyothi Milk Parlor making these fake dairy products using dangerous chemicals and Rasna packets. The task force caught thousands of fake products.

ACB nabbed Panchayat Raj DEE

Anti Corruption Bureau nabbed a Panchayat Raj Deputy Executive Engineer Sudharsan Reddy in Hyderabad. They raided his Hyderabad house and his relatives’ houses in Mahboobnagar district simultaneously. They confiscated Rs 3 crore illegal funds as well.

A young man was murdered brutally in old city

Amar, a young man in Hyderabad old city Mangalhat area was murdered for marrying a girl against their elders’ wishes. The girl’s brother Lakshman angry with Amar for taking her sister away beat Amar with sticks and stones killing him.

Amar’s parents lodged a complaint with the police who nabbed Lakshman and are interrogating him.

Mother and child killed in a road accident

A mother and child belonging to Rayavaram village of Markapuram mandal in Prakasam district died in a road accident while coming back after attending a relative’s wedding.

According to reports Kulukuri Kondaiah along with his wife Mary (26) and son Kaushik (4) were returning home after attending a wedding in Kanchepalli. But nearby Podali, when Kondaiah tried to overtake a Kanigiri-Vijayawada RTC bus, he lost balance. His wife and child fell underneath the rear  tyres and died on the spot.

Kondaiah was slightly injured and the police shifted the bodies to government hospital for post mortem.

Avanthi College Students agitation

Rangareddy district Abdullapurmet Avanthi Engineering College students had been agitating against the college management for the past two days. They complained that the college chairman Avanthi Srinivas has been threatening them.

The students demanded the management to concentrate on their problems rather than threatening them.

Intermediate Student Chandni Jain brutally murdered

A Junior Intermediate student of Silver Oakridge Junior College in Bachupally, Chandni Jain from Miyapur Madinaguda who went missing on 9th September was found brutally murdered and thrown near Ameenpur hillocks.

The girl went to attend a party with friends and did not return home. Her mobile phone was switched off. The family lodged a complaint in the Miyapur police station.

Locals in Ameenpur spotted the body and alerted the police. The Commissioner of Police along with his team visited the spot and recovered the body in a decomposed state. No injuries were found on the body. Police are awaiting the post mortem reports.
