Why couldn’t you speak when a woman called you? Do you know Kovind since your ancestor’s time?” is what Telangana Rajya Sabha MP V. Hanumantha Rao had to say.
He criticised CM KCR with his strong vocabulary. In fact, he warned KCR that he would go from place to place, gather people and would bring him down from his throne. He said it was wrong not to talk to ex-Speaker Meira Kumar when she called him on the phone. He questioned KCR on putting up banners of Kovind all over the city as if he had known his ancestors.
VH expressed his desire that naxalism should come once again to erase the zamindari rule in Telangana. He vented his anger saying that Congress had given Telangana and KCR brought zamindari rule in Telangana. His support and welcome to Kovind angered VH and the other Congress leaders. Leaders like Sarve Satyanarayana and Ponnam Prabhakar showered criticisms on KCR.
