There is a recent talk that the title of the film may be changed. Since the story is based on great warrior Uyyalawada, ‘Mahaveera’ (Great Warrior) seemed to be apt as the title. It is believed that strong titles always worked for films with strong content like ‘Magadheera’ and ‘Bahubali’. So ‘Mahaveera’ would be a suitable title for the film.

The film unit planned to start the film shoot on August 22nd, the birthday of Chiranjeevi but Chiru felt that since this is the story of a freedom fighter, it would be apt to start the shoot on Independence Day, August 15th.

This movie would be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam. Nayanathara generally charges two and half to three crores per film and since this is a 4-language film, her remuneration of Rs 4 crore seems to be worthwhile.
