Tollywood star Ram Charan is working on his new project Rangasthalam 1985, under the direction of Sukumar, with Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the female lead role. The film is set in a rural backdrop, with Ram Charan playing the character of a young villager.
TV anchor-turned-actress Anasuya Bharadwaj is playing a crucial role in the film and keeps posting pictures and updates about the film, even though the first look of the film is yet to be released.
In her recent post, Anasuya compared Ram Charan’s character in Rangasthalam with that of his father Chiranjeevi’s film Swayamkrushi (1986), directed by K Vishwanath with Vijayasanthi as the female lead.
She stated that Ram Charan would also be as captivating as Chiranjeevi was in Swayamkrushi and that he has owned the character as Chiru did all those years back.
"I got to know Charan as a person and an actor up close due to the movie. I can say that he is putting his heart and soul into the movie and one will admire his commitment to the character.”
Though the filmmakers have not passed any information regarding the film, Anasuya has been busy with giving updates about the film, entertaining the crowd and giving joy to Ram Charan fans.
