Nokia and Xiaomi have both churned out entry-level devices. They feature a small 5-inch display with HD resolution and pose almost similar dimensions. We also hope the Nokia 2 gets sub-Rs 7000 price tag.

Nokia will run Nougat and also promises 0reo update. On the other hand, the Y1 lite gets the latest MIUI 9. The Y1 lite gets a plasticky deisgn, but the Nokia 2 poses a premium finish. When it comes to other internal hardware, Y1 lite is better placed with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage, compared 1GB + 8GB found in the Nokia device. On the other hand, Nokia is promising 2 days of battery life with its 4100mAh battery while the Redmi Y1 lite gets 3080mAh battery.

So, it all boils down what you are looking for in a device. A premium finish, good battery life and stock Android could mean the Nokia 2 is for you, and if you are looking for a better speced devices overall than the Y1 lite is a good option.
