Xiaomi Mi 6 may not come to India report

Those waiting to get their hands on the recently unveiled Xiaomi flagship will be disappointed as the device may never land on the Indian soil. Citing people related to the matter, an India Today report claims that the company may give the Mi 6 a miss, and launch another 'high-end' device in India.

In terms of specs, the device is powered by the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. It should be noted that Samsung's S8 priced at a whopping Rs 57,000 comes powered by the same processor.

The 835 is coupled with 6GB RAM and storage options are 64GB and 128GB. Dipped in black, white and blue colours, the Mi 6 will also get special ceramic with 18k gold camera rim and silver variants.

The device sports a 5.15-inch display with reduced glare, precise 0.15-nit adjustments. It is covered by a curved glass body on all four sides, and features a stainless steel frame. On the camera front, it gets a dual setup with optical zoom -  12MP wide angle with 4-axis OIS stabilisation + 12MP telephoto.

The splash resistant device comes with support for USB Type-C and under-glass front fingerprint sensor. And, the 3350mAh battery promises full day of charge.
