After bringing the Mi Mix 2 with a futuristic design to the Indian market, Xiaomi is all set to launch what it calls a brand new series.

Xiaomi has sent out invites for its 2 November event, and could bring a new series to the Indian market. Putting an end to the speculations around the Xiaomi Note 5A, the India chief Manu Jain hints at a selfie-centric device. 

The tweet hints at two important features - selfies and battery. While the hashtag reads #Yourbestselfie, the tweet as well as the invite also hints at fast charging, thanks to the lightning bolt symbol.

Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 that was available on discount through the festive season gets a permanent price cut. It is now selling at Rs 13,999. Both 32GB and 64GB variants get Rs 1000 off, and will be selling at Rs 13,999 and Rs 15,999 respectively. Furthermore, you can exchange your old device and get additional discount of Rs 15,000 on your device. Axis Bank Buzz credit card offers additional 5 percent discount.
