These five smartphopnes are available at a starting price of Rs 7990 and go up all the way to Rs 14990. Available in Champagne gold, Sky black, and Space grey colours, let's take a look at their specs.

 

The i3 and i3 Pro sport a 5-inch HD displays and come powered by Mediatek MT6737 processor. Both get 16GB onboard storage, expandable up to 128GB and support 4G VoLTE. However, the differentiating factor remains the RAM - i3 gets 2GB RAM and Pro gets 3GB RAM. Moreover, the Pro version also gets a fingerprint scanner. 

 

The i5 and i5 Pro feature slightly larger 5.5-inch HD displays. The Pro version gets higher 3GB RAM, and also 32GB onboard storage compared to 2GB and 16GB seen on i5, respectively. Finally, the i7 sports 5.5-inch Full HD display. Under the hood, it gets MediaTek MT6750T processor and 4GB RAM. It has a 13MP rear snapper and 16MP for selfies. The list of specs also includes 4000mAh battery capacity. 


"We today launched smartphones under Tecno brand, which is in mid to premium segment," Arif Chowdhury, Vice President, Transsion Holdings said. He said the phones are equipped with image processing technology Pixelex that allows brighter night photography.


"The software algorithm of the camera is optimised as per Indian consumer localised needs in terms of skin tone, colour preference, contrast etc. Besides, the smartphones are also equipped with an anti- oil fingerprint sensor that provides hassle free access to the phone under all Indian lifestyle and weather conditions," he said. According to the company, the smartphones have rocket charging that reduces the charging time by at least 20 per cent. 

 

The i3 is priced at Rs 7990 and the the i3 Pro at Rs 9990, i5 at Rs 11,490 and i5 Pro at Rs 12,990. The i7 is priced at Rs 14,990. The i7 will be made available from next month, while the others will hitstores in PPunjat, Rajasthan and Gujarat this week.
