Samsungs foldable smartphone New details emerge

It has been widely known that Samsung is working on a new foldable smartphone. To beat the stagnancy of phone designs and compete with arch-rival Apple, Samsung's this Galaxy X is bound to make heads turn with its design.

The new report claims that the display will be inward folding, and not outward folding as we had seen in previous reports. According to SamMobile, it is an inward-folding display with 3R curvature.

While we have been hearing about Samsung working on foldable displays since 2016, all the latest reports have been pointing out at how a device coming to the Korean market earlier than expected. Earlier, we had heard that Samsung is working extensively on 'Project Valley', an operation set up to develop a smartphone with a bendable screen for 2017. It was aimed to launch alongside Apple's anniversary model. However, looks like we will have to wait until next year. Now, reports have been pointing out at Galaxy X launch slated for 2018.

This could also mean all those foldable concept phones that we saw earlier would soon become a reality.
