Reliance Jio Summer Surprise offer ends this month: What's next for you
- The Summer Surprise and Dhan Dhana Dhan offers end by late July, for most users.
- Users who want to continue enjoying the benefits will have to recharge.
With the end of the offer, users will now have to recharge in order to continue to use the benefits. The offers were launched earlier this year in April.
The Summer Surprise offer let users pay Rs 303 or more to enjoy free data for three months until July-end. Once the validity ends, Summer Surprise users will have to recharge with Rs 303 to enjoy the services per month. Yes, it would turn into a paid service. Now, if you have taken the Jio prime membership and first recharged with Rs 149 and later with Rs 303 or a higher value, then the lower amount recharge will be activated once the Rs 303 offer ends, as per a report by Gadgets360.
Those who had opted for the Dhan Dhana Dhan (existing Prime users) were offered 1GB data/day at Rs 309 and 2GB data/day for Rs 509, and Rs 408 and Rs 609 respectively for new Prime users. So, once you have completed the desired period of time, then users will have to recharge with the same amount, which will bring the same benefits for one month.
To check the status of your SIM/Jio offer and its validity, users can visit MyJio Suite of Apps. The MyJio app will reflect the status of your offer. The menu Tab has the option called 'My Plans' that will show all the details of your offer along with the expiry date.
Interestingly, the report adds that the Dhan Dhana Dhan offer is still open for those Jio users who haven't yet signed up for prime membership.
