Reliance Jio Buy One get One offer: What you need to know
- Reliance Jio has announced a new 'Buy One Get One' offer.
- Users will have to recharge with ₹149 or above before 31 March.
FollowReliance Jio now plans a new offer that will bring additional benefits to users on a recharge of ₹149. According to Financial Express, users can get 1GB, 5GB and 10GB data on recharging before 31 March.
So, Jio users who recharge with ₹149 will get 2GB additional data. And, with the ₹303 plan, they will get 5GB free data in addition to 28GB of data. There is the option to recharge ₹499 or above and get 10GB free data each month. Do the math, and it comes up to 120GB of extra, free data.
"In the Rs 499, Rs 999, Rs 1999, Rs 4,999 and Rs 9,999 plans you will get 10 GB of free data over and above the data originally available. So if the user completes a higher recharge, the extra data for a month is 10GB, which for a year multiplies to 12*10GB, which equals 120GB of free data," the report adds.
Users can make these recharges before 31 March, to get benefits of the extra data. The free data will automatically add to your monthly pack. It plans will be effective starting 1 April.
Reliance has launched Jio Prime that requires one-time fee of ₹99. Jio Prime members are entitled to benefits of the Happy New Year Plan for a rate of ₹303 per month, which comes to roughly Rs 10 per day. Jio had now added additional 5GB data, which is worth ₹201 for free. So, if you are recharging with ₹303, you will get data worth this price for free.
