Nissan GT-R launched in India: All you need to know about the mean machine

The legendary sports beast machine Nissan GT-R has finally been launched in India and the car lovers’ excitement levels have gone through the roof. Godzilla, as the car is popularly known as will be available for the customers in India to book. The car was first launched in 2007 worldwide but it never made it to India because of the amount of duty one had to pay for the vehicular beast.

 

It is but obvious that it is beyond the budget of a common man. On the other hand, the fancy car owners in this country have already set their eyes on GT-R.  

 

Nissan had brought about a number of changes over the years on this car but this new edition has quite a number of significant and breathtaking makeovers.

• Nissan GT-R is priced at ₹1.99 crore (ex-showroom Delhi) and ₹2.32 crore (on road Delhi).

 

• For the first time ever, Nissan has dropped the badge of Skyline badge from the GT-R and have solely turned it into a sports car.

 

• Nissan GT-R latest edition comes with more power. Godzilla is more stylish and compact than ever before.

 

• The LED rings on the twin signature taillights add to the sports look of Nissan GT-R.

 

• Nissan GT-R will be available in 7 different colour variants – Katasura Orange, Pearl Black, Gun Metallic, Ultimate Silver, Daytona Blue, Vibrant Red and Storm White.   

 

• Nissan GT-R will have 11 speakers inside the car powered by Bose.

 

• Multi-functional steering wheel, rear-view camera, additional controls behind the gearshifter, touchscreen infotainment display are the features that one will dig.

 

• When it comes to power, this edition of Nissan GT-R is no less than a beast. 562bhp 637Nm of peak torque and its 6-speed automatic gearbox propels GT-R from 0-100 km/h in just under 3 seconds.
