FollowReliance Jio has announced a new offer that brings free 4G data. This new offer will help it drive the sales of its budget smartphone that comes with support for 4G VoLTE.
yes, you heard that right. Reliance owns the LYF brand of smartphones and users need to buy a Lyf Water device that comes priced in the range Rs 6600 to Rs 9700 to get the additional 4G data. The list of phones in the said price range is:

On purchasing the device and inserting the Jio SIM in the card slot, the extra credit will reflect within 48 hours. Along with the data, the company also adds one year of additional warranty. The offer is valid till 31 March, 2018 and users can keep renewing their packages by purchasing recharges of Rs 309 (6GB extra), Rs 509 (12GB extra). The additional data will be given about six times until the validity ends on 31 March, 2018.
Jio is soon expected to disrupt the broadband market too. JioFiber is likely to be launched by Diwali, and will offer 100GB data for Rs 500. It will offer 100Mbps speeds when launched. Looks like to combat this yet to arrive offer from Jio, Airtel has announced 1000GB of free data for a year with its broadband plans.
Meanwhile, Hyderabad is said to be the first Indian city to get 1Gbps Internet speed. ACT Fibernet will offer high speeds with 1TB FUP in Hyderabad at ₹5999. It also plans to extend the internet services to 10 other Indian cities soon.
