Lenovo officially brings its budget smartphone - the Moto C - to the Indian market. Dipped in Pearl white and Starry black colour options, the Moto C sports a 5-inch FWVGA display with 854 x 480 pixels of resolution.

Under the hood, it gets a Mediatek processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The 16GB onboard storage is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot. The camera section packs in a 5-megapixel rear snapper and a 2-megapixel front camera. It runs Android Nougat and is fuelled by a 2350mAh battery.

At that price the device will be competing with the latest sub-Rs 7000 smartphone - Redmi 4.

Though the Moto C is priced at Rs 1000 less, the Redmi 4 appears to be more 'value for money' at Rs 6999. It clearly has far superior specs. However, Lenovo is more seasoned OEM that is bringing to you the Android nougat experience out of the box.
