Legendary Nokia 3310 launched in India, to be sold at Rs 3310

HMD Global, the Finnish company that manufactures Nokia brand of phones launched the new version of Nokia 3310 May 16. The handset will be available at retail stores from May 18.
"The Nokia 3310 will be available across top mobile stores in India starting May 18, 2017, will retail at a recommended best buy price of Rs 3,310," HMD Global said in a statement.
The company revamped the mobile and gave it a modern look prior to launching it at the Mobile World Congress in February 2017.
The phone has a 2.4-inch QVGA color display offering 240X320 pixel resolution. It has a 2-megapixel camera on the rear panel with LED Flash. The phone has an internal storage of 16MB which is further expandable up to 32GB. It runs on Nokia Series 30 platform and also features the legendary Snake game.
The phone will be available in four colours -- red and yellow, both with a gloss finish, and dark blue and grey, both with a matte finish.
Nokia 3310, known for its robustness, was the most widely used feature phone globally during 2000-05. It is estimated to have sold 126 million units globally.
