iPhone 8 coming in new colous with mirror finish option

Rumours around the iPhone 8 just don't seem to end. The latest one reveals that the iPhone 8 will be made available in four new colours. This will include a new shiny mirror-finish.

According to a tweet from Benjamin Geskin, the new iPhone mock-up will look like something shown below:

Recently, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had suggested that the new iPhone will come with 'boutique' colour options. The new colours will add to its plush look and also help it differentiate from the iPhone 7s and 7s plus. Though the other three colours aren't mentioned, they are said to be gold, rose gold and black.

It is believed that the iPhone 8 will ditch aluminium for composite glass, but the iPhone 7s and 7s Plus will retain aluminium and come without any design changes. Leak also suggests that the iPhone 8 will retain the same 3GB RAM that was also seen in the iPhone 7 Plus.

The iPhone 7 came with water resistant ability, and the iPhone 8 will continue to get it. However, the water resistant rating isn't mentioned. There have been rumours and leaks about a dual camera. The cameras will be aligned vertically.

One of the most talked about rumour about the iPhone 8 has been the OLED display. After a string of rumours whether the device will come with OLED or not, there have been consistent leaks pointing towards the former. This has given rise to another question - if the device will feature a bezel-less design with a display taking over the front side, then will the fingerprint scanner come embedded within the OLED display or on the back side.

Kuo (via 9To5Mac) had confirmed that we may finally see a OLED display with a bezel-less design and the device will also replace the existing home button with a virtual home button, it may not come integrated with the fingerprint scanner button on the front. This means, the fingerprint scanner could either be moved to the back side or removed completely.

Apple developer John Gruber said that the base model of the anniversary edition of the most high-end iPhone will start at $1200 that transforms to approximately Rs 77,300. This goes against the previous rumours that claimed the price won't exceed $1000.
