Three iPhone
From the time rumours around the iPhone started surfacing, it is believed that Apple will be launching three phones this year. While earlier they were said to be the iPhone 7s, iPhone 7s Plus and the iPhone 8, new leaks confirm two iPhone 8 models and the anniversary edition dubbed iPhone X.
Anniversary edition with OLED display
While Apple may launch three iPhones, all eyes are set on the anniversary model that we've been waiting for. This idevice is expected with a complete overhaul inside out. And, among them one of the consistent rumour has been an OLED display that will cover the entire front side. There were a string of rumours and a lot of flip flop around the delay in OLED displays and the missing fingerprint scanner. In a nutshell, we hope apple doesn't disappoint and the device sports an OLED display.
Facial recognition
The OLED edge-to-edge display had raised questions whether the company will give the home button fingerprint scanner a miss. There were also leaks about the iPhone coming with facial recognition. And, this is the feature we hope to see.
Wireless charging
Another consistent rumour has been the iPhone X will support wireless charging. This report had confirmed wireless charging for the iPhone models and will support Qi chargers. While there is no word on Apple's own accessory, users will reportedly be able to buy third party Qi chargers.
LTE Watch
This isn’t exactly an iPhone feature. The idevice is likely to be accompanied by a new wearable. A new slimmer smartwatch with faster processor and bigger battery could be launched. And, just like we’ve been hearing for some time, it could be the highly anticipated LTE built-in version.
