Gionee adds the M6S Plus to its portfolio of smartphones. It's a dual SIM device that sports a 6-inch Full HD AMOLED display with 1080 x 1920 pixels of resolution. Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 653 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM. The device runs Amigo 3.5 OS that is based on Android marshmallow and comes fitted with a fingerprint scanner on the rear side.

 

On the camera front, one can expect a 12MP rear snapper, and on the front there's a 8MP shooter for selfies. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi, microUSB, Bluetooth and support for 4G LTE.

 

The company will be launching the device in two storage options - 64GB and 256GB. The 64GB unit is priced at CNY 3,499 (Rs 32,600) and the 256GB at CNY 4,299 (approx. Rs 40,000). The device will be hitting stores in the Chinese market. Considering India is an important market for Gionee, the device could make its way into the Indian market.
