Trump's immigration ban on majority Muslim nations hasn't gone down well with many in the Silicon Valley. After all, Silicon Valley is made up of the best talent from across the world.

After being quite vocal about what they think the ban, prominent tech executives from Alphabet (Google), Apple, Microsoft, Facebook, Uber and Stripe have now drafted a joint letter opposing the ban. Amazon and Apple have been further vocal about taking legal support.

"It is not a policy we support," Tim Cook had said. Google has around 187 employees affected by the order. In a letter to employees, Pichai criticised the order stating, "We’re upset about the impact of this order and any proposals that could impose restrictions on Googlers and their families, or that could create barriers to bringing great talent to the US."

The draft (via Re/code) reads, "As entrepreneurs and business leaders, our ability to grow our companies and create jobs depend on the contributions of immigrants from all backgrounds."

The letter states how the company share the goal of security of the nation, but the most recent executive order will affect visa holders who work in the US and have contributed to the success of the country.

"We stand ready to identify ways of helping to achieve your stated goal of bringing clarity to the future of the 750,000 Dreamers in this country under the protections of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program in a way “that will make people happy and proud.” Removing these protections by barring renewals would effectively end the program and eliminate the ability for these Dreamers to work and live without the fear of deportation," it further reads.

The cause of the global chaos is Trump’s order shutting the borders for immigrants from seven Muslim majority nations including Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. The orders restrict citizens of these nations from entering the US for the next 90 days, and Syrian refugees indefinitely. And, green card holders will be reportedly be re-screened after visiting these countries.

After the immigration ban, he is also said to crack the whip on H-1B visas. You can read more on it here
