The Asus Zenfone AR smartphone finally comes to the Indian market. The Tango-enabled device also comes with Daydream support. It will be selling exclusively on Flipkart at Rs 49,999.

 

Users who buy the device can take home the Google Daydream View VR headset with a discount of Rs 2500. Its original price is Rs 6499. That isn't all! The company is also offering up to 100GB extra 4G data in partnership with Reliance Jio.

It poses in a leather and aluminum body. In terms of specs, it gets a 5.7-inch QHD (1440 x 2560 pixels) Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 821 SoC, 23MP Sony IMX318 camera module, dual-PDAF with support for 4-axis OIS, Android 7.0 Nougat and 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. It can stitch four 23MP photos to create a massive 92MP image.

 

It bundles Asus ZenEar S earphones and the connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, GPS with A-GPS and NFC.

 

Asus Zenfone AR is the second Tango-enabled device, after the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro. It was unveiled earlier this year at The CES 2017 and is said to be the world's first Tango as well as DayDream ready smartphone. By Tango-enabled, we mean it comes with capabilities like motion tracking, a deep perception and learning the surrounding area. 

 

It is fuelled by a 3,300mAh battery with support for Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0.
