The Asus Zenfone AR smartphone is the second Tango-enabled device, after the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro. By Tango-enabled, we mean it comes with capabilities like motion tracking, a deep perception and learning the surrounding area.

The device follows the phablet trend with a large 5.7-inch Super AMOLED QHD display, Snapdragon 821, 23MP Sony IMX318 camera module, dual-PDAF with support for 4-axis OIS, and runs Android 7.0 Nougat. One of the highlights, as pointed out by a Techradar report, is the comprehensive manual mode with Super Resolution mode that apparently allows capturing four photos shot in native 23MP. It is then capable of stitching them into a single 92MP image.

On the other hand, the Zenfone 3 Zoom claims to be the thinnest and lightest device that comes packed with a large 5000mAh battery. It will double as a power bank that can charge other devices too. The Zenfone 3 Zoom comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display, Corning Gorilla Glass 5, Snapdragon 625, 4GB RAM and 128GB storage space.

It comes equipped with a dual rear camera - a 12MP sensor with 2.3x optical zoom supporting overall 12x zoom, and 12MP Sony sensor with f/1.7 aperture. There is no word on the pricing details of the device, but is expected to be available from next month. There is no word on India release, yet.
