Earlier this year, Asus had launched two variants of the Zenfone 3 Max in India - 5.5-inch Zenfone 3 Max (ZC553KL) and 5.2-inch Zenfone 3 Max (ZC520TL). While the 5.2-inch variant is already available at ₹12,999, the larger Zenfone 3 Max 5.5 (ZC553KL) is now made available in India at ₹17,999.

The smartphone follows the phablet trend with a large 5.5-inch Full HD display with 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood, it gets a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset along with Adreno 505 GPU. The device also includes 3GB of RAM and a fingerprint scanner. On the storage front, one can expect 32GB onboard storage that is expandable up to 128GB.

A 16MP PixelMaster rear snapper is fitted on the rear while selfie lovers won’t be disappointed as it comes equipped with an 8MP front shooter. The device runs Android Marshmallow, but not without its own Zen UI skin atop.

Finally, a 4100mAh battery completes the package, promising 38 days of standby time and a super save mode.
