Many unofficial leads and informal information is surfacing online over social media platforms. Though there are many genuine people working day and night to help the COVID patients, there are people who are cheating the helpless.

Fraudsters are everywhere, they are manipulating the patient's families in giving either huge amount of money for medicines and oxygen cylinders, or they are cheating citizens in the name of providing emergency beds, Remdesivir injections.

Now, if you are from Delhi, Police have taken action against them. In a Twitter post, they have shared a number where people can call for asking help.

The post reads, "Did someone #cheat you in name of providing oxygen/medicine/hosp bed/remdesivir etc? U paid online & its gone? 1. Report on #155260 so we can stop ur money frm reaching cheat. 2. Report on http://cybercrime.gov.in 3. Call4 asst #01123469900".

Another malware where a text message promising to provide an app to register for the COVID-19 vaccine is doing rounds targetting Android users. Beware of these fraudsters.
