The Baleno RS hot hatchback differs from the Baleno hatch by using a revised front grille, restyled headlamps with projector lights and LED daytime running lights. The front bumper also will come with a silver lip and will get a wider airdam and larger round foglamps. Be ready for some liberal presence of chrome along the grille, door handles and the rear.
INTERIOR
The cabin comes equipped with touchscreen infotainment system, climate control, automatic projector headlamps and wipers, electro chromatic mirrors, keyless entry and more.

Earlier a leaked spec sheet of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS was doing the rounds of the Internet. Details revealed in reports arising from analysing the sheet spoke of the car having disc brakes on all wheels and being shod with 16-inch wheels.
THE ENGINE
The Baleno RS will be equipped with a new turbocharged 1.0 litre BoosterJet 3-cylinder petrol engine, develops 100bhp of power at 5500rpm and 150Nm of torque right from 1700rpm. The engine will come mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.

Bookings for the Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS began this month on February 26 for an amount of Rs 11,000 and the car is already commanding a waiting period of close to a month and a half. After the launch the waiting time is expected to get higher. On the topic of price, one can expect the Baleno RS to be priced close to the Rs 8 lakh mark.
