TTV Dinakaran threatened by MLAs

Yesterday, Dinakaran has held a meeting with his supporters. During the secret meeting Dinakaran has been forced by the MLAs to appoint them as ministers.

After the demise of J Jayalalithaa, the AIADMK has been split into three teams under the leadership Palaniswami, Panneerselvam and Dinakaran respectively.

Yet, the three teams have decided to support the Presidential candidate Ram Nath Kovind of BJP.

It has been decided by Dinakaran that he would go on district-wise tour to gather support for his party. It is said that he would go on this trip after the Presidential election and Assembly sessions. Day before yesterday he met Sasikala in the Bangalore prison to discuss this.

Meanwhile, O Panneerselvam faction has filed a case against the trust vote that was carried out in the Assembly on February 18. The case will be taken up for hearing on July 11. He is on a discussion with his team to decide what evidence should be produced.

Even if the verdict comes in favour of them to conduct the trust vote again or even when the DMK decides to carry out the no confidence motion, the rise and fall of AIADMK can only be determined by Dinakaran because he is the one who holds the trump card.

In his house in Adyar, an intense discussion has taken place. Ministers Senthil Balaji, Palaniappan and 7 MLAs including Vetrivel, Thanga Tamil Selvan have participated in the meeting. Due to this meeting, the officials and party members who came to meet Dinakaran were instructed to come back after 7 pm.

As disclosed by some of his supporters,“Dinakaran was intentionally avoided in both iftar and MGR centenary celebrations. The BJP presidential candidate also did not meet him. Chief Minister refused his request to appoint his supporters as ministers. The MLAs who were forcing Dinakaran on this were frustrated over their rejection. Following this, it was decided that during the upcoming Assembly sessions the MLAs would strongly demand for the posts of revenue, higher education and transport. In case of rejections, it was also planned to cause trouble for the Palaniswami regime.”
