Superstar Rajinikanth's foray into politics has become one of the most talked about topics not just in South India, but reports has it that even in the power corridors of Delhi, it is creating ripples.

What started as a rumour, is now fast gaining ground that the Tamil superstar is planning to join politics. Earlier last week, Rajinikanth's brother dropped another bomb that the cine star is now planning to float his party.

Now an Indian Express report has it that Rajinikanth has hired a Bengaluru-based agency that will help him work on the election strategy - keeping the 2019 general elections in mind. The party will comprise of several top Tamil Nadu leaders from AIADMK and even Congress, the report said.

Tamil Nadu politics currently is going through a huge vacuum left by the sudden death of Jayalalithaa, with general elections scheduled for 2019, Rajinikanth has enough time to build a political base. The decision to employ a professional agency might just give the Tamil star is bound to help him chalk out a definite plan of action.

The most crucial decision for the South star will be on the choice of an ally. In that front, he has AIADMK, which currently festering with internal squabbles and disarray, then there is the DMK, where an ageing M Karunanidhi, is passing most the responsibilities of running the party to MK Stalin. And then there is the BJP.
There have been strong speculations that the Tamil actor has been requested to meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is also said that the BJP is helping Rajinikanth in forming his party.

We can expect a lot of clarity by July as Rajinikanth's elder brother Satyanarayana Rao Gaikwad as quoted by national dailies had said that the Superstar would make the plunge by July end. Gaikwad had said that the cine star was finally going to give in to the request of his well-wishers and fans and is "ready for the war."
