Kamal Haasan hints at major political announcement on his birthday

Kamal Haasan, off late has been in the news for various political activism and his dynamic political opinions. However, he is planning to make a big announcement this time again on his birthday, i.e., on November 7. “Be prepared. Will tell everything on November 7 (birthday)”, he said.

While announcement of his political plunge is on the cards, there are speculations that he may also announce the launch of an app that will act as a platform to unite his fans. Haasan is said to have spoken earlier about a communication channel among his fans, people and him where he can discuss strategies and talk about corruption.

Sources said Kamal's team is mulling launching a mobile application that would serve as a platform for interaction and planning strategies in the future. In a Tamil Weekly, Kamal wrote, "I understand that there is an army of youngsters waiting out there. The youth force should be coordinated and I am of the belief that I am duty bound to unite them. So, on November 7, I will announce a method by which I can communicate with them."

The film star has been vocal about his opinions on politics on various social media platforms and is registering his concerns reating to the people of Tamil Nadu. He was in the news earlier when he had urged his fans to post corruption charges against government officials on Twitter and also mail to the official e-mail ids of the ministers. Meanwhile, as speculations mounted on Kamal that he will announce his political party on his birthday, he took to Twitter and clarified that he will announce his political entry before the public and not on Nov 7 due to media pressure. He also said he has been meeting his fans on his birthday every year.

Kamal also said that violence is not a solution for political reformation anymore. It will only increase the loss of humans. He, however, suggested that the system needed a "surgery".

Speaking of the future plans, he said, "My aim is not to just convene an assembly of supporters but a large council of leaders. Agenda of such an initiative will not be to just hold talks but to work out plans." He further added that the new communication channel will be aimed at training and organising workshops that will chalk out the future.

According to a Deccan Chronicle report, he said, "I welcome people who feel a sense of duty towards Tamil Nadu and those you who think it (working with him) as a sacrifice, please stay away, I don’t want to be indebted to you."
