The Election Commission has filed an FIR against TTV Dhinakaran and his aid Vetrivel for releasing the video of Jayalalithaa inside the hospital, a day after the public campaigning for the RK Election is over.

TTV Dhinakaran had released the video of Jayalalithaa consuming juice inside the Hospital, when she was admitted to Apollo, last year. Meanwhile, RK Nagar, Jayalalithaa's constituency will go to polls tomorrow (December 21)  and December 19 was the last day for the public campaigns.

The FIR has been filed with the intention that this video was released to influence the voters, especially after Sasikala and TTV Dhinakaran were trounced from the AIADMK party which is led by E Palanisamy and O Panneerselvam, currently.

It is said that releasing of the video is the violation of election code of conduct. The Election Commission has sought a report from the Tamil Nadu Chief Election Commissioner. It has asked for complete details regarding Jayalalithaa's alleged video.

Meanwhile, the Apollo Hospital has released a statement that the video is not official, and they have no clue about any such footage from the hospital.

It can be remembered that TTV had earlier had said that he has videos of Jayalalithaa inside the hospital and will release it when the time is apt.
