Bigg Boss Kamal Haasan in new trouble for insulting the Isai Vellalars

Bigg Boss Tamil is in trouble again. The Tamil Nadu Isai Vellalar Ilaignar Nala Sangam has issued a loegal notice against the show, its host Kamal Haasan and Vijay TV for allegedly 'insulting' the community by showing the casual handling of the musical instrument Nadaswaram in the reality show. In the legal notice, the community has said that the way contestant Shakti handles the musical instrument has defamed the culture of Tamil Nadu and the heritage of the community in a deep way.

The community has also sued Endemol Pvt Ltd. The notice read, "The 3rd of you (Shakti) was acting as a Nadasvaram vidwan, holding the instrument, dancing with it and also throwing it from one hand to another in a very cavalier manner. Afterwards, the Nadaswaram was kept on the dining table and the participants were sitting and having their food. All these things have insulted and damaged the mindset of the community as the Nadaswaram is more than a musical instrument to them."

The group believed that the channel and Kamal were responsible for the scripting of the show. It further stated, "…observing the program closely reveals the secret that the entire program is regulated by the script provided by 1st (Vijay TV), 2nd (Kamal Haasan), 4th (Endemol India) of you with specific intention of inducing viewership by touching emotional, sensitive characters of individuals and communities without bothering about the defamatory nature of such script…".

he group has asked for unconditional apology from the parties within 7 days of receipt of the notice. The community also demanded an apology from Kamal Haasan, failing which legal notice will be taken. Earlier the channel and the veteran actor were sued by the right-wing group Puthiya Tamizhagam for the abusive use of the word 'cheri' (slum) by a participant in the reality show.
