Uncertainty looms large, AIADMK politicians visiting astrologers for solution

The never ending political saga of Tamil Nadu’s ruling party AIADMK is taking new turns and twists everyday as both the factions are yet to make any decision. The future of the party is still uncertain, and now politicians of this party are looking for a solution in not-so-unconventional places. 

According to a national daily, Tamil Nadu politicians are visiting astrologers and engaging in lengthy discussions to get some clarity and guidance. The rush is such that appointments are not available for members of the public. In fact, many politicians are going to different astrologers to seek second and third opinions about locations of the stars and what could be the possible solution.

The Times of India quoted an astrologer as saying that politicians are booking appointments under the names of their relatives to avoid identification.  

The Coimbatore-based astrologer who predicted AIADMK’s crucial win in 2016 and also about Jayalalithaa’s illness is reportedly fully booked for next two months. 

Interestingly, some of these politicians are also carrying horoscopes of Edappadi K Palaniswami, O Panneerselvam, and J Deepa to the astrologers as their fate as well as the party’s fate depends upon these three leaders and their decisions. A popular Chennai-based astrologer said that many politicians want to know whether their horoscope is in-line with that of party leaders who are yet to make a decision. 

TOI quoted a senior AIADMK politician as confirming that he approached an astrologer to find out about his career and future and also, on his wife’s insistence, he visited temples located in and around Kumbakonam to get rid of evil spirits.
