After Blue Whale Robo Walky takes Internet by storm alerts Pollachi youth

A youth from Pollachi is seeking the help of the police, claiming that another deadly game like that of the 'Blue Whale' game is taking the Internet by storm. Known by the name of 'Robo Walky', the game is said to be as dangerous as the Blue Whale game.

The youth has used wall posters to spread awareness among the people in Samathoor near Pollachi. According to Deccan Chronicle, the poster read: ‘Robo-Walky’ a dangerous online game similar to ‘Blue Whale’ that killed many children. The youth is also said to have approached the police to take action against the admin. However, the latter seem to be indifferent to the same.

The unidentified youth has urged everyone to spread awareness about the existence of the game and its repercussions through social media platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp and Twitter. He also urged parents to monitor their children and check them from hooking themselves to the game.

The youth is even ready to surrender himself to the police, if that proves the authenticity of his statements. His posters also show his willingness to help children who have become addicted to Robo-Walky.

Meanwhile, Kottoor Police said that they were not aware of any such poster and that no one had approached them with such a complaint. "It may be a rumour," says Kottoor police sub-inspector Rajendra Prasadh. However, the police assured enquiry into the wall posters.
