In a statement addressing Israel's actions, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that while Iran does not seek war, it will respond proportionately to any aggression, with Supreme Leader Khamenei further calling for a unified front against what he referred to as "brutal war crimes" by Israel.

Iran’s foreign ministry on Saturday issued a firm statement asserting the country’s right and duty to defend itself following Israeli airstrikes that targeted Iranian military sites, resulting in the deaths of two Iranian soldiers.

In a significant escalation of the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, the Israeli Air Force conducted precision airstrikes in southern Lebanon, resulting in the elimination of two high-ranking Hezbollah commanders.

Israel intensified its strikes on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, resulting in over 100 deaths in a single day. The attacks, which left 105 dead and 359 injured, were reported by Lebanon's health ministry. This escalation followed the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah two days earlier, as Hezbollah engaged in cross-border fire in support of Hamas.

At least 492 people were killed and nearly 1,650 injured in Lebanon on Monday following a relentless barrage of Israeli airstrikes targeting the southern and eastern regions of the country, as well as the southern suburbs of Beirut. 

The airstrikes on Hodeida, a vital port in Yemen, ignited a massive fire and sent plumes of black smoke billowing into the sky. Analysts noted these are the first strikes by Israel in Yemen, located approximately 2,000 kilometers (1,300 miles) away from Israeli territory.

The Israeli military stated on Monday that it had struck "over 320 military targets in the Gaza Strip" during the past 24 hours. These targets included tunnels housing Hamas militants, operational command centers, Islamic Jihad militants, military facilities, and observation posts.

The Israeli Defence Forces claimed that they were operating in response to the attacks by striking terror targets and operatives in Gaza. So far, Israel has carried out at least 130 retaliatory airstrikes in the Palestinian coastal territory
