Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid: Team news and expected lineups

The football fans across the globe have been waiting for this day as the titans of the footballing world Bayern Munich and Real Madrid will clash at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday. The iconic stars of the galaxy of football will lock horns in the epic first leg of the quarter-final of the UEFA Champions League.

Bayern Munich's star striker Robert Lewandowski suffered a shoulder injury against Borussia Dortmund and he is doubtful for their clash against the Galacticos. However, Bayern Munich coach has insisted that Lewandowski has suffered a minor injury and it will not be a problem for the polish striker to feature against Real Madrid.

Real Madrid's manager Zinedine Zidane have a number of injuries to deal with as Pepe, Fabio Coentrao and Raphael Varane have been ruled out due to injuries. In that case, Nacho is likely to make it to the playing XI alongside Dani Carvajal, Sergio Ramos and Marcelo. 

Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo always had the knack of shining in the big stages and here is one ahead of him. Ronaldo will be a major factor for Real Madrid in this thrilling encounter against Bayern Munich. It will be interesting to see if the trio of Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema overcome the defensive frailties. Keylor Navas has not been in great form yet he is likely going to make it to the playing XI.
