Nirmala Rajesh, the housewife has revealed the entire incident on her Facebook page and has expressed her gratitude to the police. This Facebook status has gone viral on social media, even the senior officers of the department have noticed this status and have appreciated the SI.
Nirmala Rajesh was standing near TV Tower, JC nagar in the night at around 8.30 p.m. on January 26, along with her bike, as petrol was exhausted in her two wheeler. She had called her husband to bring some petrol in a container. At that time ASI Narayana came to the spot and has asked why she is standing there.
After listening to her problem he advised her not to stand in that place as it is notorious and insecure place for a woman at that hour and told her to go and stand in the main road at Mekhri Circle.
He also offered her his bike and dragged her bike for 1 km. from TV tower to Mekhri circle. He waited with her for some time till her husband arrived with petrol.
The couple have shared this incident on Facebook and have expressed their gratitude for the concern of the police.
Responding to this Narayana has said with humbleness that he has just executed his duty.
