Prime Minister Narendra Modi hit out at the Congress government in Karnataka for failing to take action against its corrupt minister

PM Narendra Modi urged the Karnataka government to remove Jarkiholi from the ministerial position and dismiss his party membership. 

State BJP leaders are continuously urging the government to take strict action against the minister. Now Modi has also reiterated the same.

The PM also spoke about the Congress, saying that the party is ‘a thing of the past’ and not to be trusted. “Congress tied up with the Left in West Bengal for its survival. In Uttar Pradesh, it attacked the Samajwadi Party but later it went for a pact,” Modi said.

During the I-T raids on the house of Small Scale Industries Minister and District in-charge of Belagavi, Ramesh L. Jarkiholi and Karnataka State Mahila Congress president Laxmi R. Hebbalkar, the officials found 12.8 KG gold, 41 crores in cash and 162 crores movable and immovable assets.
