576 VFX artists, who worked for blockbusters like Baahubali and Naan Ee, have been roped in to recreate the image of late Kannada superstar Vishnuvardhan in digital form.

The film's plot deals with a 120-foot snake of Lord Shiva. This movie is simultaneously being made in Kannada and Telugu and will be dubbed in Tamil and Hindi.

The big budget movie is being touted as the 201st movie of Dr Vishnuvardhan, who passed away in 2009. His first movie was Nagarahavu, which generated an 'angry young man' image for him in Karnataka.

The movie script took nearly seven years to complete and three years to shoot. Actor Ramya (Divya Spandana) will play the female lead as Naga Kannika. This will be her comeback movie since entering politics. She will be seen in a Tamil (dubbed) movie for the first time in five years.

The movie is slated for release in July and has created high expectations among Sandalwood, Tollywood and Kollywood audiences.

Recently, Sandalwood stars started a campaign to take a selfie with a larger-than-life picture of Vishnuvardhan, in support of the movie as well as in respect to the late actor.
