Rohingya

The Rohingya refugees had been residing in Tamil Nadu for the part one year and they were trying to illegally migrate to Australia when the police in Sri Lanka caught them. This led the Tamil Nadu police to conduct investigations of their own and they found that the boat came from one of seaside villages itself.

India’s eastern border with Myanmar is aflame with riots and violence. The persecuted Rohingya Muslims are suffering terrible atrocities in the name of religion and ethinicity and now this child’s death has brought out the dire situation this minority is facing. Sadly, these refugees are not wanted anywhere not even in India
