Chamarajanagara: Modi took a dig at the Congress dynastic politics, as he addressed the gathering at a place near the Chief Minister’s native constituency. Through this, he reiterated to the party workers as to why the Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa a son, B.Y. Vijendra at Varuna, Mysuru was not given ticket. Modi was addressing a gathering at Santhemaranahalli, in Chamarajanagar district. Modi said, “Siddaramaiah has started 2+1 , a new political formula in the state. He is contesting from some other constituency as  he is scared of losing the election, and he is fielding his son in his original constituency and dynastic rule will continue.”

Modi then went on to say that 1+2 formula is being used to give tickets to their children and also added that he knew how much the Congress workers were hurt by this formula, claiming that Vijendra had lost his ticket at the last minute.
