Activist Rahul Easwar gets death threats for visiting Madani
- Rahul Easwar had tweeted photos of his interaction with PDP leader Abdul Nasser Madani
- He received phone calls alleging that he hurt Hindu sentiments and was threatened that he would be beaten up
- Rahul has reportedly filed a complaint with the police regarding the threats, and a probe on the same is on
Activist Rahul Easwar has reportedly received death threats for meeting PDP leader Abdul Nasser Madani during the latter's recent visit to Kerala.
Rahul had on Sunday tweeted photos of his interaction with Madani with the caption, "Met with Sri Abdul Nasar Madani. PDP Leader. Enquired about his health, sons marriage, the need for building bridges."
Later, Rahul  received phone calls alleging that he hurt Hindu sentiments by visiting Madani, according to reports, and was threatened that he would be beaten up if he attends any events organised by Hindu organisations from now on.
Rahul has reportedly filed a complaint with the police regarding the threats, and a probe on the same is on.
Madani to attend his son's marriage and also visit his ailing parents after a Supreme Court order gave him permission for the same.
Meanwhile, Rahul was in the news recently for after he visited Akhila Ashokan aka Hadiya at her residence near Kottayam on Thursday, despite the strict security measures in place.
