It was Pulsar Suni's statements that trapped Dileep in the actress attack case. Though Dileep kept constantly denying of having any links with the Suni, the main accused, Suni kept giving statements like the involvement of 'big shark' and VIP from Aluva, pointing to the role of some prominent person in the case.
Following this, he made a phone call and wrote a letter to Dileep seeking money, which Dileep had allegedly agreed to pay to him. However, police state that they decided to arrest the actor only after collecting enough evidence and that they got 19 pieces of evidence to prove his role in the conspiracy.
However, Suni continues to give out statements and here are the five cryptic messages that Pulsar Suni made in actress attack case.
Madam
His first message was to the assaulted actress. According to her statement, the accused said that it was 'madam' who gave him quotation. Even Dileep and advocate Fenny Balakrishnan, whom the accomplices of Suni approached for evading arrest, have mentioned about the involvement of a 'madam.' However, police denied the statement as a plot by Suni to mislead the investigation.
Big Shark
Suni's second statement was about 'big shark.' He had told media persons that some 'big sharks' would be caught in the case. His jail inmate too confirmed the statement, and with the arrest of Dileep, the public started considering him as the shark.
VIP from Aluva
On July 18, when he was produced before the court, reporters got a chance to speak to Suni. For a query whether more persons will be arrested, he said "let the VIP from Aluva explain more." Though he did not mention Dileep's name, it is quite obvious whom he was referring to.

On July 19, he again sends a cryptic message to reports and while returning from court he told reporters that 'those in custody are not big sharks.' He was shouting while being taken to court and said that there were more culprits in the case.
