'She is my madam': What does Pulsar Suni's confession about Kavya Madhavan mean?

FollowIn what comes as a shock to many, Pulsar Suni - the prime accused in the actress attack - revealed that veteran actress and Dileep's wife Kavya Madhavan is the infamous 'madam' in the case.
Suni made the disclosure to mediapersons when he was presented before the Ernakulam chief judicial magistrate court on Wednesday. He had previously admitted to the police that Kavya knew him well and had given him Rs 25,000 as per Dileep's directions.

It is interesting to note that it was Suni who named Dileep as the man behind the conspiracy in the actress attack. Suni said that the actor gave him a 'quotation' to harass the actress and record the visuals as he held a personal grudge against her. The police later questioned Dileep in marathon grilling sessions on two separate occasions before arresting him. Later the probe team found strong evidence against the actor that he was denied bail three times by two different courts.
Now that Suni has identified Kavya as the 'madam', does it mean that Kavya also had a role in the actress attack, just like Dileep? Will the police question Kavya again in connection with the case? Some reports claim Kavya has given contradictory statements to the police regarding her acquaintance with Suni. Though initially she had denied knowing Suni, Kavya later admitted she knew him and that she had also given him money. This statement is understood to have worked against Dileep in court.Â

So, will Suni's statement prove significant to the case again? Or is this a lie Suni told the media to take the spotlight away from him and buy himself some more time in the probe? Suni has been throwing hints regarding the case at mediapersons for the last two months. He first said a 'madam' was involved in the conspiracy behind the actress attack and that she was a person from the film industry. However, he had refused to revealed the her identity.
