Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan lost his temper with the media yet again as infighting continues in the LDF even after Thomas Chandy resigned as transport minister in connection with the backwater encroachment row.
Pinarayi's checkered history with the state media was on full display again on Friday as he directed mediapersons to leave the premises of the CPM office in Kochi, where he arrived for the party secretariat meeting.
'Indians are living in a climate of hate and intolerance,' Kerala CM Pinarayi kicks up storm
The Kerala CM growled “move aside” when reporters swarmed him and asked for his response to the ongoing CPM-CPM spat. Pinarayi then called for his security personnel, following which the police asked the media to leave the building.
Mediapersons were camped at the CPM office in Kochi as several LDF leaders including the CM were expected to arrive for the party secretariat, in the wake of the heated and public exchanges between CPM and CPI.
Back in July, Pinarayi had vented his anger on mediapersons by asking them to "get out" of the venue of a peace meeting he convened with top BJP and RSS leaders in Thiruvananthapuram.
