Manju Warrier leaves event, returns to Kochi on hearing about Dileep's bail
- Actor Dileep was granted bail after 85 days in jail on strict conditions

Actor Dileep got bail after spending 85 days in jail. The High Court granted him bail observing that there is a substantial change in the circumstances of the case.
Dileep had to surrender his passport before leaving jail premises as he won't be allowed to leave the country during probe period. The actor was also told not to talk to the media. Granting his plea, the court also orally said that he should not try to influence the witnesses or any other person involved with the case. The court gave the order at 1.45 pm.
Meanwhile, Maju Warrier, who had always stood by the side of the assaulted actress, was attending few functions at Kottayam. There are reports that the actress came to know about the decision of the court after 2 pm and soon she cancelled her programmes and returned to Kochi.
Though some media persons tried to reach to the actress seeking her response about the bail, she was not available.

The assaulted actress was at her home when the news came. There are reports that some persons from film fraternity visited her extending their support.
Dileep got a warm welcome from friends and fans. Actors Siddique, Dharmajan Bolgaty and director Arun Gopi were present at the house to welcome the actor.
Meanwhile, Aluva Rural SP A V George, who is probing actress abduction case said that there was no lapse on the part of police in investigating the case. It was the court that granted bail to the actor, and that cannot be considered as a lapse from the part of the police, he said.
DGP Lokanath Behera hinted that the police are not likely to submit the charge sheet soon as the actor is already out. Further, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) wants to make it foolproof as they are yet to recover the mobile phone and sim card used by prime accused, Pulsar Suni, for recording the visuals of attack.
