Malappuram police rescue girl kidnap 4 years ago Thanjavur temple

The Kerala police have rescued a five-year-old girl, who was abducted four years ago, from an aged woman at Vandoor in Malappuram. 

The girl, who now goes by the name Yazhini, was taken when she was six months old from near the Brihadeeswarar Temple in Thanjavur, according to reports.

After being rescued, the girl has been moved to the government children's home in Vandoor, according to a press release by the Nilgiris district children protection officer.

The parents or the immediate relatives of the child can approach the children protection office located at the Nilgiris collectorate in Ooty with relevant documents. 

If anyone approaches the office without the child's birth certificate or any documents which can prove their parenthood, they would have to undergo a DNA test for the same.
