Madrasa teacher, helper arrested for unnatural sex
- The teacher and his helper were arrested for sexually abusing a minor boy

FollowA Madrasa teacher and his helper were arrested for sexually abusing a boy. Both of them were sexually abusing the boy for four months since June this year.
The incident came to light after the child informed his parents about the abuse. Though he was afraid to speak about the issue at first, he later informed his parents that the teacher and the helper used to abuse him in their room.Â
The parents contacted Childline officials who told the police about the incident. A case was registered against the teacher and his helper based on a complaint filed by the parents.Â
The arrested are Seyd Falil, a native of Mattool, and M K Siddique from Vayad in Thaliparamba.
The police have booked the teacher and his helper under the provisions of Protection of Children Against Sexual Offences Act. The accused were produced before Magistrate Court and were remanded in custody.
The police are probing whether more children have been abused by the teacher and his helper.Â
