The police team, investigating the Kochi actress attack, is currently looking at the possible involvement of another young Mollywood actress in the case.
Though the actress in question acted with Dileep in only two films, it is understood that she is very close to him. Dileep was arrested on charges of conspiracy on July 10 and has since been in judicial custody.
The police have reportedly found that a considerable amount of money was transferred to her bank account soon after the attack, and the probe team is currently looking into it.

Meanwhile, the Kerala High Court will deliver its verdict on Dileep's bail application later today. The actor has served 10 days at the Aluva sub-jail and three days in police custody since his arrest. His remand period will also end on Monday.
The prosecution has maintained its stand that Dileep is the mastermind behind the incident and they have solid evidence proving his involvement. The defence, meanwhile, has said that the actor was arrested solely based on the statement of main accused Pulsar Suni.

If Dileep's bail plea is rejected, the police will produce him at the Angamaly first class judicial magistrate court to extend the remand period. The HC will also hear the bail petition of Pular Suni today.
