Prominent advocate BA Aloor will appear in court for Pulsar Suni, the main accused in the Kochi actress attack case, from now on.

Aloor went to the Kakkanad district jail on Wednesday and got the vakalatnama signed from Suni. Once the court approves the application on Thursday, Aloor will represent Suni in all further hearings related to the case.

Aloor, who rose to fame by representing notorious criminals, revealed that he would represent all accused in the actress attack case, expect Martin. After speaking to Suni, the advocate told the media that some bigwigs in the film industry were involved in the case.

The lawyer said they he had decided to appear for Suni from the beginning but he couldn’t due to some unavoidable reasons. Advocate EC Paulose had represented Suni in the case far.

The young actress, popular across South Indian industries, was kidnapped on February 17 while she was travelling from Thrissur to Kochi. The attackers later dumped near the house of actor-director Lal, who informed the police. The actress was allegedly molested during the abduction.

Aloor found himself under the spotlight after he represented Soumya murder case convict Govindachamy in the Supreme Court. He has also appeared for notorious thief and con artist Devender Singh aka Bunty Chor.
